INSPECTION:
A successful retread must be built on a sound casing. Each casing is thoroughly inspected by a trained technician. Tyres that are not capable of second life are rejected. |
FILLING:
All the Skived areas of the tyre is filled with Gum Chord using an extruder gun. |
BUFFING:
The worn tread is entirely removed from the casing by buffing. Proper buffing is crucial to the retread tyre's future performance. |
BUILDING:
A new layer of highly compact precured tread is built on the tyre casing. The precured tread is then stitched in place. |
SKIVING:
A skilled operator removes any embedded foreign objects to ensure a clean and solid surface. |
ENVELOPING:
The tyre is bagged in a highly flexible outer and inner envelope ensures that the tyre casing, bonding-gum and precured tread are successfully bonded together. |
CEMENTING:
A thin layer of concentrated rubber solution is sprayed onto the prepared tyre casing. |
VULCANIZATION:
The tyres are cured under higher pressure with DPC system to achieve a homogeneous and permanent bonding of precured tread to the tyre casing. |
